Orders, Shipping & Returns

From where will my order ship?

Kolo Culture products are handmade in our Dakar, Senegal studio, but they ship from our northern New Jersey office. If you are located in the United States, you will not incur any international shipping fees.

How long will it take to get my order?

We process all orders within two (2) business days. Once the order has been processed, it is then shipped using the shipping carrier and speed selected at checkout.

Please note that the shipping times provided are an estimate and Kolo Culture is not responsible for carrier-related delays. Please also note that carrier shipping times may vary due to seasonality. (Example: Shipping may be slower than usual during the Christmas holiday season due to the volume of shipping activity during that time.)

Can I cancel my order after it is placed?

No, you cannot cancel your order after it is placed. However, if you’d like to select a different item after you’ve placed your order, you can email help@koloculture.com. If you reach out to us before we process and ship your order, we can accommodate the exchange. If you reach out to us after we process and ship your order, you’ll need to return the original item and we can ship a replacement. Shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.

Which shipping carriers do you use?

We primarily use USPS, but we have access to all major shipping carriers.

Do you ship internationally?

No, we do not ship internationally at this time.

Where are your products made?

All products are designed and produced by our talented team of artisans in Dakar, Senegal.

What materials do you use?

Kolo Culture African Print Graduation Sashes are made of authentic West African wax prints, high-grade linen, satin, and nylon (fringe at the ends of the sash).

Can I get my product personalized?

We offer customization for group orders. Minimum order: 5
